Seeing Cairo is a must for anyone visiting Egypt. Our private trip to Cairo by plane offers more time looking around the amazing sights of Cairo and less time travelling.

We pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by air-conditioned bus in the early morning and take you to Sharm airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be accompanied by your Egyptologist tour guide.

Together you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient Pharaohs!, the tour also includes a visit to the valley temple facing the great sphinx.

Then you will break for some lunch before going to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.

Built in neo-classical style, designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon the museum exceed 120000 masterpieces ranges from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-roman period in Egypt and includes the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Pharaonic Gods and Goddess.

I cant praise them enough, they were fantastic especially as i was ill and had to postpone the trip for a couple of days.
Sorry for all the texts lol i missed the pre arranged meeting ( i got the wrong day) but I was contacted and met the next day with no problems. The guide Will was brilliant. I loved being driven through Cairo for me that was the best bit , seeing how other people live etc. We took our 11 year old son and this trip was perfect for him, I think he learnt more in that day then he would have at school. I found it strange that you could climb on the Pyramids and how quiet it was , i was expecting loads of people so it was lovely. Not sure id take the horse and cart ride again....not for those with a bad back...A fantastic day, if id been better we would have arranged more trips with these as we felt well looked after, Thankyou

What can I say about our one day trip to Cairo? Excellent! We opted for the private tour to allow us as much flexibility on the day as we have 8 year old twins and a 23 month old. Paying in cash the day before the trip was rather worrying as we tend to opt for the credit card option. However, as instructed the rep was outside the hotel at the designated time to collect the money and provide instructions for the following day trip. Everything on the day of the trip ran v smoothly; taxi arrived on time, met at the airport where we received our flight tickets. When we arrived in Cairo our guide and transport were ready and waiting. We decided to go to the museum first and our guide Shaimaa was amazing. She was enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable and delivered all the facts in a way which was entertaining for our children. An absolute delight! We decided to go on the boat trip to the restaurant which we enjoyed (and were the only family on the boat!). In the restaurant Mohamed even turned up to check everything was good with the trip, a nice touch! We were lucky enough to go into the Great Pyramid which was amazing! The route to the burial chamber absolutely delighted the children…..a must! We had as much time as we wanted around the pyramids which was fantastic as we did not feel rushed at all. Our guide and driver were superb throughout the day. We did decide to visit the perfume/paper shop as we had some spare time at the end and there was no pressure to buy any goods. The children were fascinated to watch how the paper was made. I would certainly recommend this trip and company! A wonderful, memorable trip!

My boyfriend and I had a private tour to Cairo from sharm on the 22nd of jan 2010 we had the most amazing day!! Our tour guide Abdul was absolutly fantastic was well worth paying the extra for a private tour. The whole day went without a hitch and was treated like royalty all day!!! Abdul made the day extra special for us taking lots of pictures of us it was like having a tour guide and a professional photographer all in one!!! I wouldnt think of booking an excursion with any other company. :-)

What a fantastic day! We certainly were glad we payed the extra for a private tour. My husband and I and our two daughters (12 & 14) so enjoyed this day. Abdul was our knowledgable guide and we learned so much from him.He has been working as a guide for 12 years but was still very enthusiastic about his subject. He also took some great photos of us at the pyramids! I must mention the driver who also contributed to the day. Always on time and ready to pick us up so there was no waiting around.All went smoothly from the transport from our hotel, the flight and the return journey. This company is professional and provides excellent value for money. We also booked quad biking with them.
Just a few tips, take more money than you think as you will need as you will be tempted at the perfume shop! also we did not realise you have to pay extra to see the royal mummies at Cairo museumn, and we did not have enough on us. At the end of the day we had three hours before our flight and our guide recommeded the light and sound show at the pyramids.He knew we did not have the money on us but agreed to lend us the amount and we could pay back the guide that would collect us for quad biking. This was a great show. I thought it may be tacky, using modern lazers and music to tell the history of the great pyramids, but it was exceptionally well done and very dramatic. Thank you to Abdul for trusting us. This is a highly recommended day out, very tiring but well worth it.

Simply - what a brilliant day. From the people transferring us to our great guide Abdul. An early start but you need the time. The Egyptian Museum is facinating - even to someone not so into history. The Pyramids & Sphinx - amazing. Lunch was really good too. The optional trip along the nile not so worth it. The Papyrus shop was good too. I fully recommend this trip. Only bad thing was not enough time in Egyptian Museum - I am unsure even a whole day would be enough. Excellent day. Thanks.
